Simple and Elegant Study Bible
  • Think about Schofield's classic cross-reference system in the center column of the pages of a study bible:  It's not in the Ancient Roots Translinear Bible (ARTB). You don't need another reference to tell you that words are related in the ancient language--they're the same word in English, all the time!
  • Think about the number of footnotes in a typical study bible.  Have you ever noticed that many footnotes tell you the "real" meaning of the word?  In ARTB, the "real" word is in the text!  So the number of footnotes is dramatically reduced.
  • Many study bibles have a mini concordance in the back of the book.  ARTB has a complete concordance available online for free at Ancientroots.com!
  • You won't be reaching for a bible dictionary to tell you where Assyria or Sheba is.  ARTB has updated geography with maps showing the ancient trade routes.
These features are very important to me.  I found that as I was doing bible study, I would have 4-5 additional reference books.  Often I would lose the sense of the text just trying to figure out all the information I was given from other sources.  I wanted to be able to read the text, pure and simple, and bask in the "real" word of God.  Join me!
