I received the following question from a reader.  I thought it was of general interest that I wanted to share it more broadly.  (If you submit a question, we obtain your permission before it is posted!)

While you have earnestly sought to create a true to form document, even by utilizing the "Name" at least in the form of Yahweh, why not continue that by eliminating the use of the terms God and Lord?

Thanks for your question.  One answer is easy, but the second is
complicated.

The difficulty with using "Adonai" in a translinear text is that it is used
not only referring to the God and Lord of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but also
to human "lords".  I wouldn't want to refer to you as "My Adonai", for
example.  So to be consistent, I chose to employ "Lord" throughout, in upper
or lower case.

I do plan on revisiting the use of the word "God", because there are many
different Hebrew words (El, Elohim, Allah) under various Strong's numbers
(410, 413, 426 and 430).  That merits an extensive study to see if there is
an improved way to handle them.  I frankly had a focus to sort out the use
of the word Yahweh as my first priority.
