Ezra 3:7, ARTB
They gave silver and meat for banquets to the excavators and artisans, and oil to Sidon and Tyre to bring cedar trees from Lebanon by the sea into Joppa.
(Ezra 3:7) ARTB

Exodus 35:23, ARTB, mohair
Any man finding blue, purple and scarlet yarn, fine-linen and goat, stained-red skins of rams, and mohair skins, brought them.
(Exodus 35:23) ARTB

A note from A. Frances Werner:

Mohair is a wonderfully soft, beautiful hair from the Angora goat.  It is utilized in the ARTB for the Hebrew word TAHASH (Strong's number 8476) which occurs 14 times in the Old Testament.  These skins were utilized to wrap the very precious items for the tent sanctuary complex when it was moved from place to place.

Scholars are unsure what species TAHASH skins really came from.  Some translations utilize the word BADGER, others PORPOISE, DOLPHIN or SEA LION.  This is a case where my bias a woman clearly shows.  Here's my logic:

BADGERS have short, rough fur and would have to be trapped.  PORPOISES, DOLPHINS or SEA LIONS have no fur at all, and would have to have been caught in the Mediterranean.  All of them could have been obtained by trade in Egypt, but would they be thick enough to wrap valuables in them?  It seems a lot more logical that a long-haired goat or sheep from their flocks makes a sense to wrap the precious items from the altar, whether it's MOHAIR or something close to it.

Psalm 130:6, ARTB
The Lord keeps my soul to the morning as a keeper watching for the morning.
(Psalm 130:6) ARTB

Malachi 3:1, ARTB
"Behold, I will send my messenger to face the way in front of me. The Lord that you seek will come suddenly into his temple. The messenger of the covenant, that you pleasure in, behold, he comes!" says Yahweh of hosts.
(Malachi 3:1)

Psalm 132:17,18 ARTB, SPROUT
"There I will sprout the horn of David. I will arrange a lamp for my anointed. I will clothe his enemies with disgrace, but over him his consecration will blossom."
(Psalm 132:17,18) ARTB

A note from A. Frances Werner:

This verse is so full of places to learn insights about Yeshua, our savior, I hardly know where to start!

One important point is the word SPROUT.  The original Hebrew word SAMAH (Strong's 6779) is utilized 34 times in the Old Testament, and once in the New Testament.  Many times it is used simply to describe the growth of vegetation.  But it's use for the savior is highly significant.  Zechariah 6:12 gives us the connection:

||Say|| to him, 'Thus ||says|| Yahweh of hosts, Behold the man named 'SPROUT'. He will build the temple of Yahweh SPROUTING from underneath him. ARTB

Yeshua is the SPROUT from the apparently "dead" root of Jesse (Isaiah 11:10), which had not yielded a king for Israel for hundreds of years. More later. . .

You to look up all the references to SPROUT at the website, particularly the prophecy in Jeremiah and Zechariah. http://www.ancientrootsbible.com/external/text/word/strongs-search.html
