Are there typos in the text such as 'mid night' and 'foot stool'? |
|
In both cases, the ancient language has two distinct words. The presentation in the Ancient Roots Translinear Bible (ARTB) is communicating the original text, and this is not a typo. Once again, this attention to detail makes ARTB the most accurate bible translation available.
Just a fun footnote: In the Old Testament, you can track the development of the language. In most cases, there are two distinct words in the Hebrew, foot and stool. However, in 2 Chronicles 9:18, you will see the word as footstool, all as one word. In this case, this is a distinct new word in Hebrew which is assigned its own Strong's number.
