Is this an accurate bible translation?

In the Ancient Roots Translinear Bible (ARTB), effort has been made to match one English word with one Hebrew and Aramaic word. Every noun, verb, adverb, and adjective is translated exactly as one noun, verb, adverb or adjective. However, it is not considered complete word-for-word translation because it is not technically possible to do it for two important word categories: pronouns (I, me, he, she, etc.) and negative designations (no, not, never). Both ancient languages can compound them onto words in the text, either as prefix or a suffix. The English language does this in far fewer cases (like I'm and don't), and never does it for any verb besides generic verbs like am, is, and do. Hebrew and Aramaic do it for all verbs-so thoughts like 'I saw' or 'saw me' can also look like new compounded words like 'Isaw' or 'sawme' in these languages. Remember, Hebrew was one of the earliest alphabetic languages: thank goodness we've kept improving for simplicity!

ARTB is a TRANSLINEAR product, which defines a very specific and narrow TRANSLATION methodology.  It is different than an Interlinear bible, but is the better choice for the bible student who does not know the ancient languages. There are very specific rules which means that the science of presenting a clean data base has taken precedence over conveying the meaning.

In addition, the translinear methodology is tied to the Strong's numbering system.  There are two cases where overall accuracy is hindered because the Strong's system has limitations:
    • The Strong's numbering system does not account for extra words in English for future actions in the imperfect tense.  The author has chosen to italicize the words will and would, for example, even though they are implied in the text, because they are not in the Strong's system.
    • The Strong's numbering system does not account for verb conjunctions of pronouns like I am and He is.  Author has chosen to italicize the verb to match the Strong's designation even though it is implied in the Hebrew.

The author looks forward to a dialog to fix these discrepancies in the Strong's system.  Join the discussion in the Bible Accuracy Forum section entitled "Strong's #'s" at www.KNOWetal.com.

Yahweh inhaled the aromatic scent. Yahweh said into his heart, "Never more will I curse the earth again because of humans, for the human heart designs evil from its youth.
