Most bible versions make notations about the content of the chapter in italics right beneath the chapter heading.  The Ancient Roots Translinear Bible (ARTB) is committed to removing as many extra words as possible, and so the use of bold markings are an alternative to help the reader quickly find the sections they are interested in.  In addition, bold markings mark key players in the geneology of Christ and the sequence of kings.
